JAMES COLOMINA:
Today I'm going to talk about a Street Art Artist from Toulouse who is well-know in France and is starting to gain recognition abroad.
His name is " James Colomina" creates sculptures using bright red resin body casting.
He installs his sculptures in a guerilla-style manner in public spaces, which unfornately makes them susceptible to theft.
He installed a red resin sculpture of " Vladimir Poutin" in Central Park, in Ney York, to denounce the war in Ukraine.
It is actually a way of mocking " Vladimir Poutin", the children climbing on its back to play on it.
In Toulouse, his hometown, you can obviouly see many artworks by James.
The most famous one is the " Man with the Apple Head" which is placed on the Jean-Jaures alleys in the center of Toulouse.
I had told you since I started the Blog that our city does not open up to.
That applies to the works of James as well, I'll send you some photos of some of his works.
If you evercome to Toulouse, you will embark on a real treasure hunt because there are many more sreet art works.
